Catching the earliest flight is indeed a good choice especially if you want to see something different like the sun rise. I like the moment shooting the sun rise with the plane in the scene.
This is a town call Tiga Raja in Parapat. The place to transit to Samosir Island by ferry. We reached Parapat quite late that night, so we have to stay overnight in a crappy hotel call Patra Parapat before transitting to Tuk Tuk, Samosir island right middle of Lake Toba. This crappy hotel is very very expensive.
Two little birdies.
Wandering around the Tiga Raja- Parapat town before leaving to Island.
I think this is call Padang food. Basically they serve you everything you can see from there and you get to pick what you want to eat and you pay for what you eat. They will put back the remain.
This is the early morning view from the crappy hotel. We wake up very early so that we can leave the hotel and proceed to our destination. Before that, we took a free breakfast which we suspect to cause us to have diarhhea for the next few days.
